The story behind the creation of Blackstar Fashion Festival (BSFF)
I’ve always believed that africa is the heartbeat of creativity. Our people, our stories, and our artistry pulse with an energy the world has yet to fully witness.
Growing up — and through experience — i saw firsthand how african designers, artists, and beauty innovators brimmed with pure talent, but often lacked the right platforms to shine beyond their immediate circles.
I started bsff because i want to change that.
i want to build a space where creatives from across africa and beyond can connect, showcase, and monetize their craft on a grand stage — a space where Fashion isn’t just about runway shows, but a thriving marketplace where cultures merge, collaborations spark, and businesses grow.
